U.S. Senate candidate Joe O’Dea called Colorado’s abortion protections “reckless” and if elected would give Mitch McConnell the votes to pass a national abortion ban. Joe O’Dea is too extreme for Colorado.
We can’t trust Joe O’Dea to protect abortion rights in Colorado. O’Dea may say he supports a woman’s right to choose but he signed the petition to put a ban on abortions later in pregnancy on the ballot, voted yes on Proposition 115, and has called the Colorado Reproductive Health Equity Act “reckless.” He also said that he would have voted to confirm the Trump-appointed Supreme Court Justices that overturned Roe v. Wade. Nothing about that sounds like he would protect abortion rights.
If elected, Joe O’Dea would give Mitch McConnell the votes he needs to pass a national abortion ban. We can’t let that happen.
