Cobalt’s Medical Advisory Committee is a network of individuals working in healthcare including but not limited to abortion care in and around Colorado. Cobalt elevates the voices of these health care providers so that they can harness their power and expertise to expand access to reproductive rights in Colorado.
Your medical training and compassionate care of patients are the only qualifications required to join the Medical Advisory Committee! The following activities are examples of the ways you can support reproductive rights in Colorado as part of the Medical Advisory Committee:
- Participating in legislative outreach and advocacy by emailing or making phone calls to legislators;
- Become a spokesperson. We provide media training and support for articles, letters, and public comments;
- Testify on a bill in committee. We will work with you every step of the way, from preparation to supporting you at the Capitol;
- Attend networking and educational events to learn and connect with other healthcare professionals who are passionate about reproductive rights.
We are thankful for your interest in joining the Medical Advisory Committee and your involvement at any level.
Thank you for all you do; we look forward to your support!
