Cobalt works with trusted providers in and around Colorado to work towards abortion access for all. We do so by elevating the voices of healthcare professionals for pro-abortion legislation, by connecting providers with networking and educational opportunities, and by partnering with abortion clinics to provide direct financial assistance to abortion seekers.

Cobalt’s Medical Advisory Committee is a network of individuals working in healthcare including but not limited to abortion care in and around Colorado. Cobalt elevates the voices of these health care providers so that they can harness their power and expertise to expand access to reproductive rights in Colorado.
Your medical training and compassionate care of patients are the only qualifications required to join the Medical Advisory Committee! The following activities are examples of the ways you can support reproductive rights in Colorado as part of the Medical Advisory Committee:

The Cobalt Abortion Fund partners with abortion clinics in and around Colorado that provide safe and compassionate abortion care. We provide direct financial assistance to clients seeking care at one of our partner clinics in the form of procedural funding and/or practical support.
Dr. Leilah Zahedi-Spung spent four years in medical school, four years in an OB-GYN residency, and three years in a maternal-fetal medicine fellowship learning how to care for high-risk pregnant patients. In her decade-plus of medical training, she learned that in some cases, the only rational and responsible option for medical intervention is an emergency abortion.
