Coloradans want reproductive freedom. No more abortion bans.

Colorado voters have rejected 4 attempts to ban abortion on the ballot since 2008 and more than 75% of Coloradans agree that the decision of whether or not to have an abortion is best left between a woman and their doctor. The voters have made it abundantly clear that they support abortion and want it to remain legal.

The bills heard by the House Health, Insurance, and Environment committee, HB22-1047, 1079, and 1075 are the 46th, 47th, and 48th attempt at restricting or outright banning abortion since 2010.

Year after year Colorado Republicans bring bills that are designed to restrict reproductive freedom or eliminate abortion entirely. Enough is enough. These bills are out of touch with what Coloradans want: for Colorado to be a place where you can access safe and legal abortion.
