Our Fight for Reproductive Freedom
Nothing should stand between you and your health decisions, which is why Cobalt is dedicated to fighting for systems, structures and policies that protect reproductive rights and guarantee comprehensive, universal access to reproductive healthcare, including abortion. Cobalt hosts our annual Gala of 700+ influential change makers every year between March and May.

Coloradans, regardless of their political affiliation, want to keep politicians out of their exam rooms, and the freedom to make the health care decisions that are best for them. Donald Trump’s Project 2025 represents the threat of an abortion ban, elimination of LGBTQ+ rights, mass deportations, increased surveillance and the expansion of dangerous rhetoric with overwhelming consequences. The Cobalt Gala plays a pivotal role in ensuring that we are able to meet this critical moment.
Roe v. Wade was always the floor, never the ceiling. Our reproductive rights are still at stake. 2024 was a year that could change the course of democracy. Cobalt worked hard to pass a ballot initiative that could enshrine the right to abortion in our state Constitution, ensuring that more Coloradoans are able to use their insurance to pay for their abortion procedures.
2023 was our first Gala after the fall of Roe v. Wade. This year, we showed that abortion access rocks with a night of fun and philanthropy at the Fillmore Auditorium.
