Cobalt Abortion Fund Releases 2025 Data Report
Denver – Today, Cobalt Advocates and Cobalt Abortion Fund released its final 2025 data report. The report includes aggregate data, trendlines, and overall spending to support Cobalt Abortion Fund clients from Colorado and other states in 2025.
According to Cobalt President Karen Middleton, “What the data shows is that Cobalt Abortion Fund continues to play a critical role in health care access in a post-Dobbs Colorado. We have done the work to establish a policy framework for care with legislation and Amendment 79, but gaps still remain. Our challenge is to continue to address those gaps and barriers to care and ensure anyone who needs an abortion can get one.”
And according to Cobalt Abortion Fund Director, Melisa Hidalgo-Cuellar, “Abortion seekers reach out to Cobalt Abortion Fund because they know and trust that they can access the healthcare they need with our assistance. And we must continue to provide and expand our client-centered support.”
Cobalt Abortion Fund supports abortion seekers in two ways: financial assistance to pay for the abortion care itself and practical support, the assistance an abortion seeker needs to access abortion care, such as lodging and transportation.
In 2025, Cobalt Abortion Fund spent just over $2.4 million. Additional 2025 Statistics to note:
