COBALT ANNOUNCES 2024 STATE AND FEDERAL CANDIDATE ENDORSEMENTS
Denver – Cobalt, a grassroots abortion and reproductive rights advocacy organization representing nearly 200,000 Coloradans statewide, today announced its candidate endorsements for the 2024 election cycle. You can find the full list of Cobalt’s endorsements on our website.
“At a time when abortion rights are under attack around the country, Cobalt as an organization has to ensure we pass the abortion rights ballot measure and we have the strongest advocates possible at the Colorado State Capitol and in Congress. It’s not enough to protect access, we must remove barriers to care and expand access for all Coloradans,” said Cobalt President Karen Middleton. “Our priority right now is enshrining abortion rights in the Colorado Constitution with our ballot measure this fall. Nationally, we must have a federal delegation that reflects our Colorado values on abortion access, putting those values into action, and electing Kamala Harris and Tim Walz to restore our rights nationally.”

Cobalt is a grassroots, statewide Colorado organization that advances abortion access and reproductive rights. Our organization began in 1967 when Colorado became the first state to allow safe, legal abortion. Cobalt believes nothing should stand between you and your health decisions, which is why we are dedicated to fighting for systems, structures and policies that protect reproductive rights and guarantee comprehensive, universal access to reproductive healthcare, including abortion.
